I’ve personally polished off many bottles of this amazing Grower Producer Champagne since Shelter in Place order, it’s time for me to share the secret…. And the discount!
This is a small grower producer, super geeky Champagne made with 100% Pinot Meunier, complex, fun, and pairs well so with many things! Let’s see, so far we’ve had it with popcorn chicken, hot pot, sushi, etc…
His uses only old vine, 40 years plus and extended lees aging for 3 years!!! Normally only vintage Champagne goes through it for that long! 50% reserve wine, again, unheard of for a “basic” Champagne. And since it is extra brut, that means only 3 gram of sugar per liter, aka super dry and refreshing!
Normally this Champagne goes for $55+ but again because of this surreal time, I’m able to offer it at $48.88
