If you are a geeky Sauvignon Blanc lover like me, I'm sure you've heard of Didier Dagueneau's deliciously intense Sauvignon Blanc, but they don't come cheap, starting at $100+ a bottle.
But this wine is a mini Dagueneau in all the best of ways! Vincent's practice of utilizing neutral oak to give the wine more weight, in addition to going with much lower yields than was common in the region made this a wine insider's gem!
His wine is one beloved by myself and many other Advanced and Master sommeliers in the community, I just have to share them for you to try it yourself! The wine has intriguing aromas of white peach and candied ginger in addition to the smooth texture. Its juicy citrus flavors make it perfect for seafood dishes or goat cheese, I can't recommend this enough!
