2016 Podere Le Ripi 'Lupi e Sirene' Riserva Brunello di Montalcino DOCG, Italy

The "Lupi e Sirene" means "Wolf and Mermaid" it refers to the vineyard it is located in, and it is such a secluded location within Montalcino that you can only hear the wolf at night, and it's high up enough where you can see the ocean/mermaid in the morning.
They practice biodynamic farming, & the Riserva is only made in exceptional years and aged 6+ years in combine barrel and bottle before released.
2016 is such a beautifully balanced vintage, and this wine has such an expressive aromas and long lingering finish! Absolutely love it! They only made about 1000 cases of this, and got 98 points by Falstaff, 96 points by Robert Parker & Vinous (absolutely deserving)
