Chateau Latour's Second wine
Chateau Latour is one of the most iconic names in wine & it has been the most consistent of all the Bordeaux First Growths for over 100 years, producing wines of incredible depth, power and longevity.
The grand vin of Château Latour possesses everything a Cabernet-lover dreams about. Raw, unbridled power, energy, stunning fruit, and of course – ageability. The grand vin at this estate is some of the most ageable in all of Bordeaux.
As of 2012, Château Latour made the radical decision to eliminate Futures and only release their wines when they were ready to drink. It’s decisions like these – and many others – that put Château Latour in a league of its own.
Château Latour has often stood at the forefront of vineyard management with cutting-edge practices.
1965 - One of the first châteaux to introduce stainless steel vats to the fermentation process.
2008 - Implement Horses to plough the soil.
2015 - Obtained organic certification from Ecocert because of their organic winemaking.
