Young and Full of Potential
Hailing from the young yet prestigious Napa Valley comes another super high-scoring red that deserves every little bit of attention it gets. Bold and structured, and oh so full of potential, allow me to introduce your wine racks new best friend.
Seavey Vineyard (and myself) are delighted to bring you a powerful blend of their three top barrels of 2016, each of which is sourced from historic terrace blocks. Sustainably farmed, never filtered and always bottled on site.
Although this is a new world wine, these hillsides had their soils planted with grapes over 150 years ago by French and Swiss-German families.
Expect this to age superbly on your rack (if you can wait that long). You may find yourself watching this bottle like a Siberian Tiger patiently observing its prey.
Meet Your Winemaker
Philip Melka, a winemaker hailing from Bordeaux is the epitome of art and science meshing, and responsible for this glorious. With a degree in Geology followed by a Masters in Agronomy and Enology, he continued to study his love of soils as he entered into several positions with industry-leading wine brands.
Château Haut Brion, Moueix Company, Badio O Coltibuono in Chianti and Chateau Petrus are to name a few.
After 20 years of working and learning from top winemakers globally, he made his way back to Napa and has been bringing us majestic wines with impressive depth ever since.
The Sensory Experience
The first thing you’ll notice with this Cabernet is its truly outstanding color. It has a lavish bouquet of dark chocolate, redcurrant, intense and complex minty notes.
On the palate expect massive oak, star anise, sweet blackcurrant, and tobacco with a medium-long finish that’s nothing short of mouthwatering. Velvety tannins and lively acidity, this is a young wine creating massive waves.
It’s one of the few reds made of 100% Cabernet Sauvignon grapes giving it insane mouthfeel and body.
And the icing on the cake, a HUGE 98 points from wine reviewer Jeb Dunnuck.
Will You Pay Tribute?

This is your chance to pay homage to their efforts from your own way, by cracking open a bottle with friends and family.
Young, lively, super rare (500 cases) and barely even out of the gates yet, Seavey will only get better with time. Normally $160 per bottle, we are offering a onetime deal at $138.97 per bottle instead! Maximum 12 bottles per client, first come first serve.
